Each Successful Referral earns you one Ticket for the Umrah Giveaway (known in our terms as the Umrah Prize Draw). Entry is free and automatic. The prize is flights and hotel accommodation for Umrah, worth up to £2,000.
How do I get Tickets?
You earn one Ticket for each friend you refer who becomes a Successful Referral. Tickets are separate from Kestrl Points, so you never spend them. They carry forward into every future draw.
Do I need to keep money with Kestrl to win?
For your Tickets to count in a draw, you need at least £2,500 of your own money in your Kestrl account on the draw's closing date. If you're below that, your Tickets aren't lost. They're kept, and they count again once you're back above £2,500. We'll let you know in the app if you dip below it during a draw.
Your money is always yours, and you can withdraw it whenever you like. Keeping a balance isn't a payment to enter, and you don't need one to use your account. Only keep money with Kestrl if it suits your own circumstances and goals. Referral rewards are not an investment return and shouldn't be the reason you decide how much to keep with us.
How is the winner chosen?
Each draw runs as a Campaign, with its opening, closing and draw dates shared in the app and by email. The winner is picked at random from all eligible Tickets, and every Ticket has an equal chance. We keep a record of the Ticket list, the method and the result for every draw, so it can be independently checked. The draw takes place within 7 days of the Campaign closing.
What does the prize include?
Flights and hotel accommodation for an Umrah trip, up to £2,000 in total
You'll agree dates and bookings with our team first, then book and pay yourself and send us the receipts. We reimburse the approved costs within 14 days of receiving them.
Anything above £2,000, and anything other than flights and hotels (visas, travel insurance, spending money, travel to the airport), is down to the winner. There's no cash alternative, and any unused part of the £2,000 can't be paid out or carried forward. You'll need a valid passport and to meet the Saudi Arabian entry and visa requirements.
If I win, what happens next?
We'll contact you by app message, email and phone within 3 days of the draw. You'll have 14 days to accept. If we can't reach you or you're not eligible, we'll draw again. Once the winner has accepted, we'll tell everyone who entered.
Good to know
Previous winners can't win again.
If you win, we'll announce you with a partly hidden name (for example, "A**** S*******"). We're also required to give the winner's surname and county to anyone who asks, and to the Advertising Standards Authority.
Referrals recorded before 9 October 2026, including those from earlier Giveaways, are added as Tickets only. They don't earn Kestrl Points. If you think one is missing, contact us within 60 days of launch.
The Giveaway has been reviewed by our Shariah adviser. Entry needs no payment or stake, and none of your money is put at risk.
