When you load your card, funds are placed in dedicated “safeguarding accounts” by AF Payments. AF Payments holds these funds primarily with Maybank UK, who safeguards them in low-risk, regulator and Shariah advisor approved accounts.
Your money will be safeguarded until it is paid out. This happens if you spend or withdraw money with your Kestrl card, send it to a bank account in your name another bank account, or spend it in any other way.
