No. Kestrl is a technology provider, not a bank. The account and card are issued by AF Payments Limited, which is authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority under the Electronic Money Regulations 2011 (FRN: 900440) for the issuing of electronic money and payment instruments.

AF Payments does not take your money as a deposit to use for its purposes or lend to other customers. Instead, they safeguard your funds in accordance with the Electronic Money Regulations 2011.
